OASIS International School

OASIS International School is an American-style international school that opened in 2018 on an expansive 48,000㎡ campus in Bandar Rimbayu, Selangor State, on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Based on American standards (Common Core/AERO) with U.S.-certified teachers, the school practices balanced holistic education that nurtures not only academics but also character and social development. AP (Advanced Placement) courses are also offered at the secondary and high school levels.

Programs

Kindergarten to Primary School

For K4 (pre-kindergarten) through Grade 5, classes are organized by grade level with instruction by U.S.-certified teachers. Class sizes are small, with a maximum of 15 students in kindergarten and 25 in Grades 1-5, creating an environment where each child receives individual attention. Academically, English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Character Education form the core foundation, with emphasis on personalized learning. Through breaks and experiential activities, the school provides balanced education that promotes social development and healthy physical and mental growth.

Middle School

Middle School (Grades 6-8) is for students aged 11-14, implementing education that focuses not only on academic growth but also on developing each student’s individuality, sense of responsibility, and thinking skills. Based on American educational standards, in addition to core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, subjects that encourage creative and logical inquiry are also incorporated. The school is dedicated to creating a caring learning environment that supports each student’s growth.

High School

OIS High School spans four years from Grades 9-12 (ages 14-18). All teachers are U.S.-certified specialists, offering a wide range of subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Ethics, Physical Education, Foreign Languages, Arts, and Technology. Graduation requires a minimum of 24 credits, with Advanced Placement (AP) courses also available. Using MAP tests, quizzes, and project evaluations for continuous monitoring of learning progress and individualized instruction, the school provides academic and systematic support for university admissions.
